Colton Underwood revealed some of his and Cassie Randolph’s secrets when it comes to keeping the flame burning after The Bachelor. As fans remember, Colton and Cassie met while he was shooting for the show last fall and they needed to adapt to not exploring their love on TV after it wrapped up.
While chatting with HollywoodLife, the man discussed the pretty unique way in which he met his other half, saying that: ‘I think every once in a while it really hits…it hits me too.’
That is when he went on to share the tricks they use to make it work in the aftermath of the show.
‘We try to be funny with each other and pretend we didn’t meet each other on the show. And give each other our best pickup lines or flirt with each other again. That’s always fun We’re slowly building more and more trust with each other, building more trust with each other’s families and friends, and really trying to see how we can incorporate each other into our lives better. It’s been great so far.’
But that is not all! Apparently, there are three different steps to their romance.
Colton shared that ‘I always say there’s three different phases. There’s the filming phase, there’s the airing — when playing back — and then there’s the post show. But, looking back and how everything played out, I think everything happens for a reason. We’re glad that ours happened how it did.’
Of course, he was talking about their unusual journey to becoming a pair, including his famous fence jump.
But the Bachelor star stressed that he regrets nothing and would not change anything either!
